Wealthforge Securities, LLC – In the News:
FINRA v. Wealthforge Securities, LLC (Case #2016047664201) – From September 2015 to September 2018, WealthForge distributed numerous communications to retail customers that violated FINRA’s content standards for member firms’ communications with the public. For example, these communications contained statements that were false and misleading, statements that were unwarranted and promissory, and statements that impermissibly predicted performance. As a result of the foregoing, WealthForge violated FINRA Rules 2210 and 2010. In addition, in 2016, while acting as the underwriter of a contingency offering, WealthForge twice failed to inform investors that the issuer intended to extend the closing date; investors, therefore, did not affirmatively confirm in writing their decision to continue their investments and they did not have their funds returned to them. As a result of the foregoing, WealthForge willfully violated Securities Exchange Act Rule 10b-9 and thereby violated FINRA Rule 2010.
Our attorneys have successfully represented hundreds of investors in investment disputes with their brokers and brokerage firms. Our consultations are free and we welcome all inquiries.
