Parkland Securities, LLC – In the News:
FINRA v. Parkland Securities, LLC (Case #2016052300601) – From May 22, 2014 through December 31, 2016 (the “Relevant Period”), Parkland failed to establish, maintain, and enforce a supervisory system and written supervisory procedures reasonably designed to achieve compliance with securities laws, regulations, and FINRA Rules applicable to the sales of leveraged, inverse, and inverse-leveraged exchange-traded funds (“Non-Traditional ETFs”). As a result, Parkland violated FINRA Rules 3110 and 2010 and NASD Rule 3010. These violations were aggravated by the fact that Parkland represented to FINRA that it would implement specific corrective measures to cure these deficiencies, but failed to implement the measures in the time-frame anticipated by FINRA based on Parkland’s representations.
Gana Weinstein LLP has successfully litigated broker disputes through verdict or settlement. We represent both individuals and institutions throughout the country in FINRA arbitration, as well as commercial litigation in state and federal courts. Our consultations are both free and thorough and our securities litigation attorneys can help you uncover wrongful activity in your account.
