Client states trades were placed in accounts without proper thought on tax consequence by the advisor which led to the client owing over $50K in state and federal taxes. Client states tax consequences were not explained to them by the rep and were blindsided when they did their taxes for the year.

These events include one customer complaint, alleging that Mundt recommended unsuitable investments in different investment products including debt securities among other allegations and complaints.

Mr. Mundt was named as one of multiple defendants in a lawsuit generally alleging that the defendants made misrepresentations regarding an investment strategy involving the sale of life insurance policies, in 2017 and various dates thereafter. See Item 24 below for more detail.

These events include one tax lien, alleging that Bridwell recommended unsuitable investments in different investment products including debt securities among other allegations and complaints.

FINRA BrokerCheck shows a final customer complaint on September 04, 2024.

Without admitting or denying the findings, Bridwell consented to the sanction and to the entry of findings that he exercised discretionary power to effect transactions in customer accounts without obtaining prior written authorization from the customers and without his member firm having accepted the accounts as discretionary.
